Edward Hopper Interior Woman Reading in Blender3D part 3

Geplaatst op 2026-09-122026-09-11 door admin

The model was posed using DAZ3D. Basis is the genesis model. Because the model does not really face the camera, I did not need to detail a lot in the face. However the hair became a bit more important.

Getting the model into Blender was more of a challenge. The default DAZ3D interface is not functioning in the latest version and i doubt it is currently being maintained at all. Luckily there is another way, using diffeomorphic, which provides a lot of options to load a model into blender. The hair initially was an issue, but some research on the good old internet learned that the hair needs to be converted into separate strands so that it can be rendered.

Last step before assembling the complete scene is to model a couple of assets like:

  • Picture on the mirror
  • Makeup articles
  • Brush
  • Lipstick
  • Doily

For the picture on the mirror i asked gemini to generate a couple of images and photo’s in the style of the 1920’s. In the end i choose the black and white photo because it fits the scene best.

The other items were relate fast created.
